Our story

2001-2020

Plastic film in our DNAD

Transplast Engineering was founded on plastic film and grew mainly through international export.

The portfolio then broadened with trading activities and the introduction of new products.

Traceability and consolidation

Roll-out of an ERP system (purchasing, transport, customers) and traceability through recycling certificates.

Balers installed on suppliers’ premises (retailers and manufacturers), ensuring regular tonnages and lower transport costs and CO2 emissions.

Raising suppliers’ awareness of quality.

Bespoke offering

Diversification of our offering and feedstock sources (more process-ready PE grades, SRF, thermoforming, dedicated lines, AI, etc.)

New hires and stronger local roots.

Our DNA

Quality and traceability

Waste holders: a multi-stream collection service with batch-by-batch traceability through to final recycling.

Plastics processors and producers: a consistent, uniform product that meets their specifications.

Manufacturers: turnkey solutions developed in-house.

At Transplast Engineering, we see waste first and foremost as a resource worth recovering. Too often regarded as the end of a product’s life, it is in fact the starting point of a new cycle.

With the right sorting practices and suitable recycling solutions, waste can be turned into secondary raw materials (SRM) and fed back into manufacturing processes.
